Railways has canceled 114 trains due to Cyclone Michong including more than 35 trains running through Nagpur. Due to the formation of a low pressure zone in the Bay of Bengal, the cyclone that hit South India has wreaked havoc in nearby areas including Chennai.
The storm is moving towards Andhra Pradesh and it has affected air services as well as railway services. Trains starting from December 7 will remain canceled from the originating station itself.
Trains coming from south and running via Nagpur include major passenger trains like GT Express, Kerala Express, Tamilnadu Express, Gorakhpur Express, Chennai-Chhapra-Chennai Express, Chennai-Jaipur-Chennai Express.
