Gunjan Mantri, a class 12 student of Centre Point School, Katol Road has been selected in the Maharashtra Basketball team for the nationals.
Gunjan is a skilled energetic hoopster who participated in the National selection trials held in Mumbai.
In September, the school team won at DSO District level and at the Divisional level with a sizeable contribution to the scores by Gunjan.
Her skill and confidence in the sport helped her to be selected for the State National Trials held in Mumbai. She is a sharp shooter and a fierce defender in the game.
With rigorous practice and passion for the game, she has now carved a niche for herself in the Nationals to be held in December 2023.
