Pracharya Arunrao Kalode College defeated C P and Berara College to win the Inter-Collegeate Handball Championship.
The tournament was organized with the initiative of G H Raisoni Engineering College, by RTM Nagpur University. Kalode College won the finals 20-18. Shahrukh Nadaf scored 8 goals for the winners.
The other scorers were Navinya Koche – 6, Vedant Panchbudhe and Aniket Jadhav – 3 each.
Akash Durge was the highest scorer for C P and Berar 6. Vinaya Patil and Abhay Khode scored 5 goals each, while Akash Katkar scored two.
For the third place Taywade, Koradi defeated St Palloti 15-10. Taywade College’s Pranay Pingle scored 8. Sujal Misale -5 and Aman Khinche -2 were the other contributors for the winning team.
Director of Sports Department of RTMNU Dr Sharad Suryavanshi was the chief guest for the prize distribution function.
