The bhoomipujan of five flyovers linking east, south and central Nagpur will be per- formed on Sunday. Chief min- ister Eknath Shinde, deputy CMS Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar, state BJP president and others will be present on the occasion. East Nagpur MLA Krishna Khopade has thanked the state leaders for sanctioning these flyovers to be constructed by Maharail.
The flyovers will come up in the congested eastern part of the city which has already been transformed in the flurry of in- frastructure development ini- tiatives undertaken by various agencies including Maha Metro, Public Works Department and the Nagpur Municipal Corpo- ration.
They will offer further con- nectivity in areas which to- gether form the nub of the com- mercial district of Nagpur.
