Mah Govt announces Rs 5 lakh each for families of the deceased
Nine people died in a blast at Solar Explosives Company in Bajargaon, about 38 Km from Nagpur on the Nagpur-Amravati road.
Superintendent of Police Nagpur (Rural) Harsh Poddar said that the incident took place during packing in the cast booster plant.
The blast occurred around 9.30 am on Sunday. Several others were injured in the blast.
The details of the number of people injured and the cause of the blast is being investigated. The deceased include six women and three men. Three people were critical. The number of casualties may increase.
Meanwhile, Maharashtra Government has announced a compensation of Rs 5 lakh each to the families of the deceased in the accident.
