The bonus given on paddy will be increased from Rs 15 thousand to Rs 20 thousand per hectare. This announcement was made while responding to the discussion on the damage caused by unseasonal rains in the Assembly on Monday. At the same time Chief Minister Eknath Shinde replied that till now Rs 1537 crore has been distributed to the farmers due to crop loss.CM Eknath Shinde said “Our government has stood firmly with the farmers in every natural disaster like drought, excessive rain, unseasonal rain, flood, hail. “In the last one and a half year, we have provided all-time record assistance of Rs 44,278 crore to farmers through various schemes and reconstituted the task force to prevent farmer suicides in the state.”
