In a tragic incident near Ambazari garden, two young individuals lost their lives, and another got seriously injured as their speeding vehicle crashed into a tree. The victims were identified as 22-year-old Pranay Rameshwar Kilnake and 23-year-old Gaurav Dashrath Pendam, both residents of Gaud Mohalla, Pachpaoli. The third person, Likant Komal Kulsunge (23), who owns the ‘Lockdown’ cafe in Pachpaoli, is currently undergoing treatment for severe injuries.
The fatal crash occurred at 12:50 am on Sunday when the trio was traveling in a Baleno car with registration number MH- 49/BW 0749. According to police reports, while passing through the Ambazari by-pass, Likant lost control of the vehicle, leading to a collision with a roadside tree. Despite being quickly taken to the hospital, Pranay and Gaurav succumbed to their injuries, while Likant remains in critical condition.
Gaurav and Pranay, both employed in private companies, have deepened the sense of sorrow within the Gaud Mohalla community. The Ambazari police have registered a case under Sections 304 (a), 279, 337, and 338 of the Indian Penal Code, highlighting the gravity of the incident.
