Five sales girls working in a jeweler’s shop stole gold and silver worth 74 lakh 25 thousand in four years.Tehsil Police has registered a case against all the five sales girls and started investigation.
The accused has been identified as Swati Lute, Priya Raut, Pooja Bhanarkar, Bhagyashree Indalkar and Kalyani Khatkar. According to the police, Shantanu Deepak Chimurkar owns a jewelery shop named Chimurkar Brothers in Itwari Sarafa Market. The concerned sales girls were working in this shop. Between the year 2019 and August 30, 2023, this sales girl stole gold and silver jewelery worth 74 lakh 25 thousand from Chimurkar’s shop. After realizing this, the owner of the shop, Shantanu Chimurkar, lodged a complaint with the Tehsil Police. The tehsil police have registered a case under section 381 against all the five sales girls and started investigation.
