The District and Sessions Court will give its verdict on bail of Sunil Kedar on thursday. It may be noted that the debate on the bail petition was completed on Tuesday. Sunil Kedar has been sentenced to five years inprisonment in Nagpur District Bank scam case. The court’s verdict in this case came last Saturday after 21 years. Nagpur’s special court had convicted Congress leader Sunil Kedar and five others.
After this decision, Sunil Kedar’s lawyers had filed an application for bail. The hearing which was completed in Nagpur District and Sessions Court on Tuesday, but the decision was reserved. After which on Wednesday the court rejected the demand of more time by the government side’s lawyer in the case of Kedar’s bail and suspension of 5 years sentence. Now the Additional Sessions Judge will give his verdict on Sunil Kedar’s application for stay on bail and sentence on Thursday.
