Gandhi Sagar Lake, which is located in the heart of Nagpur, is currently undergoing cleaning efforts and will soon receive a “heritage look.” Dr. Abhijeet Chaudhari, commissioner and administrator of Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC), evaluated the lake’s development efforts on Thursday.
He directed to complete all the works of the project soon. During the inspection, additional commis- sioner Aanchal Goyal, chief engineer Rajiv Gaikwad, superintendent engineer Dr Shweta Banerjee, Dhantoli zone assistant commissioner.
Vijay Humne, executive eng neer Ujjwal Dhanvijay, Sam deep Lokhande, former co porator Pramod Chikhale et were present.
The project, with an estimated cost of Rs 49.82 crore is financially supported by the Maharashtra government (75%) and NMC (25%).
The project includes variou works such as enhancement to the lighting system, beautification of pathways in the north and east directions et
