A female elephant was electrocuted to death on private land in Armori of Gadchiroli district, making it the second such incident in last two months. This case raising concerns about the safety of the herd of 23 elephants entered in the Maharashtra from Chhattisgarh.The movement of the herd in Vidarbha causing crop loss, property loss and human life loss were mainly observed in Gadchiroli and Gondia districts.
