Former Indian Cricketer and Haryana Deputy Superintendent of Police, Joginder Sharma, Faces Legal Action in Suicide Case
Haryana Police has registered a case against Joginder Sharma, the Former-Indian cricketer and current Haryana Deputy Superintendent of Police, in connection with the suicide of a Hisar resident. The FIR also includes five other individuals, namely Ajayveer, Ishwar Prem, and Rajendra Sihag, for their alleged involvement in abetting the suicide.
The incident involves Pawan, a Hisar resident, who took his own life on January 1 amidst a property dispute. Following the tragedy, Pawan’s mother, Sunita, filed a police complaint the next day, revealing that a property-related case was under trial in court. The Haryana Police is now investigating the circumstances surrounding Pawan’s suicide and the role of those named in the FIR. She accused the six men, including Joginder Sharma, of harassing her son, which led to his suicide.
