As many as 20 patients of ‘JN.1’ variant of corona were found in Nagpur. 8 of them have recovered and 12 patients are under treatment in home isolation. Doctors say that these ‘active’ patients have mild symptoms and their condition is stable. There are 11 women in it.
The health department sent the samples of 42 suspected patients to Neeri’s laboratory for genome sequencing. In this, a total of 20 patients of ‘JN.1’ variant were recorded, 18 in the city and 2 in the rural areas.
