The museum management filed a complaint, leading to a case against unidentified individuals at Colaba Police Station under IPC sections 505(1)(b), 506(2), and 182. Investigations are ongoing. Similar incidents were reported in Kolkata, Bengaluru schools, Raj Bhawan, and Ayodhya Ram Mandir ahead of the consecration ceremony on January 22. Kolkata Police received a bomb threat email from ‘Terrorizer’s 111,’ resulting in heightened security measures. Police arrested some people in connection with the hoax call.
