A textile company manager died after he was hit by a speeding train while crossing the loop line. The incident took place on Friday afternoon at Katol railway station. The deceased has been identified as Yogendra Narayan Shiv Narayan Gupta (53).
According to the Railway police, he were crossing the loop line near Katol station when he were hit by a speeding train. After this incident, a large number of citizens along with the railway police rushed there. When the railway police checked Gupta’s clothes and bag, they found the identity card. His name and address were known from that. The railway police informed about the incident to Gupta’s company colleagues and his relatives. An accidental death has been registered and further investigation is underway.
