Kapil Nagar Police nabbed three individuals involved in a series of battery thefts, responsible for stealing e-rickshaw batteries in the locality and recovered 71 stolen batteries from their possession. The police are now working to assess the full extent of their criminal activities and to determine if there are any additional accomplices involved in these thefts.
Following intense interrogation, the accused made attempts to mislead the police. Despite their efforts, police force eventually led to a breakthrough. The thieves confessed to their involvement in the battery thefts, leading to the recovery of 71 stolen e-rickshaw batteries.
The accused were presented before the court, where the police successfully obtained a three-day police custody remand for further investigation. The arrest operation, under the supervision of Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Santosh Khandekar, was carried out by Senior Police Inspector Ashok Koli and his dedicated team.
