Shraddha Bajaj of Narayana Vidyalayam Chinchbhuvan and Vritika Game of Somalwar School Maa Umiya Branch excelled in the 67th School Games Federation of India (SGFI) National Chess Championship 2023-24 held at Narayani Mahal, Sripuram, Vellore. Both represented the Maharashtra State Under-14 Group Chess Team duly selected from DSO Maharashtra Chess Championship. The Under-14 Maharashtra Team was represented by Shreya Hipparagi, Shraddha Bajaj, Vritika Game Pardeshi Chaturthi and Sara Harole coached by Rohit Pol
Banking on the performances of Nagpur Girls Shraddha and Vritika, the Maharashtra Team clinched silver medal in the overall SGFI National Championship in Under-14 Group.
Shraddha played on 2nd Board and secured 5 points out of six while Vritika scored 4 points out of Six.
