A large number of trucks are stranded on the outskirts of Nagpur, posing serious problems for traffic movement. Even though the Central Government assured that the new ‘Hit and Run’ law would not be enforced immediately, the truck owners or players staged a strike from midnight of January 9.
The strike will affect the supply of essential goods to the city. Long queues can be seen on the outskirts of Nagpur. The goods transport has been affected from the last night. Many transporters have refused to accept the orders for goods transport from Saturday night.
