The Maharashtra University of Health Sciences has received an anonymous complaint of ‘ragging’ of the girls students of GMCH Nagpur. In a complaint, it is stated that there is continuous ragging in hostel no.2. The complaint was made to the university on December 18.
The university forwarded this complaint to the medical administration on January 1. The medical administration immediately handed over the matter to the committee. The committee held a meeting and asked the students here. It was also promised to come forward and complain and take action against the concerned. They were also told to keep their names confidential while taking action. But no one came forward. On the contrary, all the students gave in writing that there was no ragging. After making a preliminary report, the committee informed the concerned department along with the university.
