A civil engineer from Nagpur Prafulla Mategaonkar has made an 21-feet replica of Ayodhya’s Ram Temple at his home.
Prafulla Mategaonkar himself prepared the drawings and created the frame structure. The temple is 21 feet long and 15 feet wide. The height of the culmination is 10 feet.
Maharashtra: Prafulla Mategaonkar says, “I found several perspectives (for the design) of the Ram Temple on the internet. As a civil engineer, I studied all of them, Then I made a graphical drawing and thought about the material I would use. This process started before Diwali last year”.
Mategaonkar regretted not being a direct participant in the Ram Janmabhoomi movement. During the historic days in Ayodhya, he resolved to pay a small contribution at Ramlalla’s feet.
