Chitnavis Centre and Basoli Group of Child Painters Nagpur organized a Maharashtra level Child Painting Competition and Exhibition. The competition has been organized in two groups between the ages of six to fifteen.
Around 1600 child painters from all over Vidarbha, Mumbai, Pune, Chiplun, Ratnagiri, Solapur, Satara, Kolhapur etc. have participated in this competition. Only 100 of them are selected and will be displayed in the exhibition “Rangayan Chitrapallavi”, from 16th to 18th January 2024 at Chitnavis Centre’s Rangayan art gallery from 4 pm to 8.30 pm.
The topics for this competition for both groups were – Indian Festival, Any Sport, Chandrayaan 3 and Dream I saw. The exhibition will be inaugurated on January 16th at 5 pm and the winner of UNESCO 2022 International Children’s Drawing Competition Kumari Rohini Dehadrai will inaugurate the exhibition and Mr. Vilas Kale of Chitnavis Centre will preside over the program. Six prizes of two thousand rupees each and six consolation prizes will be given to the winners of this competition. Veteran Painter Shri. Chandrakant Channe and artist Shri. Ravindra Durugkar have conceptualised and coordinated this event. The organisers have appealed all the parents-children, teachers, art lovers and art enthusiasts of Nagpur to come and see the exhibition.
