One of them is seriously injured and is undergoing treatment in a private hospital in North Nagpur. 40 were injured in other minor incidents. The number of children was the highest.
A 54-year-old bike rider was traveling on the Jaripatka ring road under Kapil nagar police station when he suddenly encountered a nylon manja. Before knowing it, his throat was cut. The two present there admitted him to Madan Hospital at Kamal Chowk. As the wound was deep, doctors immediately operated on him. the hospital says his condition is stable. A similar incident happened with a 28-year-old youth from Bhankheda. The youth had 10 stitches at Madan Hospital as his throat was cut by a nylon manja. It is reported that when the Kapil nagar police got the information about these two incidents, they went to the hospital and inquired.
Indira Gandhi Government Medical College and Hospital (Mayo) treated 12 injured. Deputy Medical Superintendent of the hospital Dr. Sagar Pandey said, all these patients had minor injuries.
A 32-year-old youth fell from the first floor with a kite. His left hand was seriously injured. He was treated as a GMCH casualty.
