A 71-year-old patient admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) committed suicide by jumping from the fifth floor. This is the second case of suicide.
The deceased has been identified as Namdev Lanu Mohod (71), According to the information received, he was admitted to AIIMS by his relatives a few days ago. He was going to undergo surgery due to a mass on his liver. He was admitted to Ward 503 of General Surgery on the fifth floor. He suddenly jumped down from the window around 5 am on Monday morning. This incident created a stir in AIIMS. Doctors checked him and declared dead.
