Nagpur Municipal Corporation-Orange City Water (NMC-OCW) has informed residents of Ashi Nagar Zone about the upcoming tank cleaning schedule on January 24, 2024 that will temporarily impact water supply in specific areas.The cleaning process is an essential maintenance activity aimed at ensuring the continued supply of clean and safe drinking water to the citizens of Nagpur.
During the tank cleaning process, the water supply in the following areas will be adversely affected:
Wednesday, 24 January 2024 – Uppalwadi (NIT) ESR Industrial Area, Pawne Layout, Dhammanand Nagar, Diamond Nagar, RK Layout, Raj nagar, Baba Diwan Layout, Prince Lawn Area, Ambedkar Square area, Reliance layout, Ajri-Manjri, Bhim wadi slum, Pili Naddi Village, Bhante Anand Kaushalya Nagar, Rehmat Nagar, Ekta nagar, Shiv Nagar, Bilal Nagar, Fatema Masjid Area, Chappal Karkhana DT, Kaushalya Nagar DT, Hastinapur, Barkate Raza Masjid Area, Shabina housing Society, Uppalwadi Industrial Area.
Thursday, 25 January 2024 – Nara (NIT) ESR Nara NIT affected area details- Panjara Area, vishwa bharti society, shabina society, Eros society, Reliance society, umang college area, samta nagar, Gangotri Lawn areaSangam Nagar, Hamid nagar, KGN society, Pravesh Nagar, Yashodara Nagar, Sangharsh Nagar, Panday Basti, Yogi Arvind Nagar, Shiv Shakti Nagar, Pawan Nagar, PMAY vasahat, Tipu sultan Square area, Mehboob Pura.
Tuesday, 30 January- Binaki – II ESR Indira Mata Nagar, Sanjay Gandhi nagar, Gond Mohalla, Anand Nagar, Rani Durgawati chowk Area, Kanji House area, Mohammed Rafi Square Area, Ekta nagar, Yadav Nagar, Yadav Nagar Housing Board, Sudam Nagar, Chimurkar Layout, Tathagat Nagar, Prabuddh Nagar, Bande Nawaz Nagar, Sweeper Colony, Dhamma deep Nagar, Panchwati Nagar,Bokde Layout, Bank Colony.
During the tank cleaning period on the specified dates, there will be no water supply in these affected areas, and the water tanker service will also be temporarily unavailable. NMC-OCW urges residents to make necessary arrangements for temporary water storage in advance to minimize inconvenience.
