A private travels bus going through Samriddhi Highway hit the container from behind. In this accident, three people died on the spot. The driver fled from the spot after the accident. The accident occurred on Channel 128 between Gagona Shivani in Amravati district.
According to the information received, the Mahendra Travels bus was going from Ahmedabad to Raipur. As soon as the bus reached Channel 128 on Samruddhi highway between Gagona Shivani in Amravati district, it hit the trailer going in front. The accident was so terrible that the front part of the bus was completely damaged.
The Highway Police immediately reached the spot and did Panchnama of the dead bodies and sent them for post-mortem. In the initial investigation, it is suspected that the accident might have happened due to the driver falling asleep. Police have registered the case and started further investigation.
