At least three security personnel were killed and 14 others injured in a fierce fight between police and Naxalites on the Bijapur-Sukma border in Chhattisgarh on Tuesday.
The Naxalites attacked the police personnel who were patrolling in the Sukma district to control the Naxal activities in the region. A new security camp was established in Tekalgudem village on the Bijaopur-Sukma border. The camp was established on Tuesday, after which the Naxalites attacked the security personnel. Earlier the security forces had established two camps in the Sukma district.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah had recently chaired a meeting to review the situation.
