The carcass of a leopard was found in Dawadipar forest region of Bhandara Forest Range in East Maharashtra. The dead body was noticed by an employee of the Forest Department, who informed his seniors in the range.
A team of the Forest Department rushed to the spot and found several wounds on the leopard’s body. The leopard must have received the fatal injuries during fight with other animal. The age of the leopard was estimated at about two years, the Forest Officials said.
