The Maharashtra Judo Association will celebrate its golden jubilee year with a state-level judo tournament in the city from Friday. The three-day state meet will take place at the Mankapur indoor stadium.
Involving participants from 33 districts and various departments, a grand total of 1,150 players will engage in competition across 64 diverse weight categories. The tournament will witness its inauguration by Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, with Union Minister Nitin Gadkari scheduled to distribute prizes on Sunday.
