The Nagpur Municipal Corporation has issued an order for the immediate removal of any unlawful hoardings that are exhibited around the city.
People are encouraged to erect illegal hoardings in public squares, on major roads, on traffic signals, electric poles, transformers, and other visually appealing locations because the NMC administration has not taken any action in this regard.
However, the deputy com- missioner (Revenue), NMC, Milind Meshram has issued orders to remove such hoardings. It is interesting to note that the High Court has issued directives from time to time to remove illegal hoardings, advertisements, slogans, boards, posters, buntings etc.
