Ram Karan Yadav, the General Manager of the Central Railway Zone, provided crucial updates on the ongoing infrastructure projects and addressed various aspects of railway development in the region.
Yadav informed to the media that the Nagpur World Class Station is scheduled to be completed by December 2025.
The Railway Land Development Authority is overseeing this project, and GM Yadav assured that all efforts will be made to overcome any hurdles and ensure the timely completion of the world-class station.
He also said tagr the Ajni World Class Station is expected to be finished by May 2026.
GM Yadav highlighted the high demand for a new train service between Nagpur and Pune due to a substantial number of passengers travelling between these two cities. He said, Central Railway is committed to carefully evaluate all aspects before taking necessary steps to address this demand effectively.
Meanhwile, considering the substantial demand of the Vande Bharat train, Yadav announced that a proposal will be submitted to the Railway Board to extend the Vande Bharat train services to operate between Nagpur and Secunderabad.
GM Yadav made these announcements during a meeting at the Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) office while conducting a safety inspection tour in the Badnera-Nagpur railway section of the Central Railway’s Nagpur Division.
