The exam conducting body, Medical Counselling Committee, (MCC) will conduct a special round of counselling for National Eligibility Entrance Test, NEET SS 2023 on the official website, i.e., mcc.nic.in.
To facilitate this process, the MCC has released the eligibility criteria for the special round of NEET SS counselling in 2023. Successful candidates are recommended to stay updated here or on the official website for further updates and information.
The MCC official notice reads, “All the NEET SS 2023 eligible candidates are hereby informed that to prevent wastage of precious medical seats, the competent authority decided to conduct a special round for the vacant DM, MCh and DNB SS seats of AIQ.”
In continuation to the earlier Notice dated 01.02.2024 wherein resignation was allowed to INI-SS allotted candidates, please find attached the list of candidates who have been allowed to resign on seats allotted to them in Round-1 or Round-2 of All India SS Counselling 2023 without forfeiture of Security Deposit.
The MCC official notice further reads, “Candidates who have reported on their allotted seats through MCC (as per attached list) can now take their original certificates back from the allotted college. However, such candidates will not be eligible to participate in the Special Round of All India SS Counselling 2023. The seats so vacated will be included in the upcoming Special Round of SS Counselling 2023.”
MCC has directed the institutes to allow online resignation of only those candidates whose names are present in the list. Also, a resignation letter should be generated from the intramcc portal, failing which it will be treated as ‘Null & Void’
