The 7th annual national conference of Indian Society of Cardio-Vascular & Thoracic Anaesthesiologists (IACTACON 2024) will be held hosted by the Society of Cardio-Thoracic Anaesthesiologists of Nagpur (SCAN) at Hotel Centre Point, running from February 9 to 11. Preceding the main conference, seven workshops are scheduled for February 8, jointly organized with AIIMS Nagpur, ISA NCB, and KIMS Kingsway Hospitals.
Approximately 550 doctors in cardio-thoracic anesthesia from India, Nepal, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka are expected to attend the four-day mega event. Over 30 international experts from the UK, USA, Germany, Denmark, South Africa, and Singapore, along with more than 250 faculty members from India, will share their knowledge and experiences. On February 9, there will be a walkathon starting at 6:30 am aimed at raising awareness about cardio-thoracic anesthesia.
