Nagpur Round Table 83 (NRT 83) proudly commemorates 37 years of unwavering dedication to community service and philanthropy. In a remarkable milestone, the organization celebrated its ongoing 900th meet by organizing comprehensive health camps benefitting 1170 students and preparing for the inauguration of the second phase of their school project.
Since its inception, NRT 83 has been committed to uplifting communities through various initiatives, including its flagship Freedom through Education program. To mark the occasion of their 900th meet, the organization embarked on a month-long endeavor to conduct dental and medical health check-ups for 900 students across four schools in Nagpur. However, surpassing expectations, the initiative reached out to 1170 students, underscoring NRT 83’s commitment to exceeding goals and serving the community.
Under the leadership of Chairman Rahul Gugaliya and the dedicated team of NRT 83 members, including Jasmohan Singh, Pratik Munot, Shishank Agrawal, Shivagya Arora, Sawrabh Taori, Rahul Poddar, Prateek Minocha, Nikunj Agrawal and Nagpur City Coordinator Shubham Jain, the initiative saw collaboration with esteemed institutions like Swargiya Dadasaheb Kalmegh Dental College & Hospital. Dr. Rasool and his specialized dental team, along with General Physicians Dr. Gedam and Dr. Bhalerao, provided invaluable healthcare services to students, ensuring their well-being free of cost based on diagnosis.
The health camps not only addressed immediate health concerns but also emphasized preventive care and health education, aligning with NRT 83’s vision of nurturing healthier communities. Dr. Jigna Puniyani, a renowned Homeopath, extended her support alongside Dr. Priyanka Thakkar, enriching the health camps with holistic care.
In addition to healthcare, NRT 83 continues to invest in education infrastructure, with the upcoming inauguration of Phase 2 of their school project in Sukali Village, Hingna. This phase includes the construction of three new classrooms, providing an enhanced learning environment for students. The inauguration, scheduled for February 17, 2024, will mark the conclusion of the 900th meet celebrations, symbolizing NRT 83’s ongoing commitment to community welfare.
Acknowledging the collective efforts of the entire NRT 83 team, Chairman Rahul Gugaliya expressed gratitude to members, healthcare professionals, school staff, and generous sponsors like Sq. Leg Rahul Soni, whose contributions ensured the success of the health camps and ongoing preparations for the school project inauguration.
