The citizens can also contact the Joint Commissioner of Police on cell number 7387392212, Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime) cell number 7385042212 or Deputy Commissioner of Police (Detection) cell number 7385082212 and provide information. The names of the informers will be kept confidential.
Given the spurt in the street and violent crimes, the City Police Chief is keen to direct- ly seek information from the ground level. Apart fromestab- lishing public contact, senior officials will also be able to get confidential information directly from the citizen. This will help in shaping the fight against the anti-social elements and restore confidence among the people.
