The strike by junior resident doctors at NKP Salve Institute of Medical Science and Research Center (Lata Mangeshkar Hospital) in Hingna continued for the fourth day. Meanwhile, the number of patients in the hospital has decreased. Except emergency services, resident doctors are not providing services in OPD including wards. Due to this many operations have been postponed.
A strike strike is being carried out by 320 resident doctors of the hospital demanding payment of Vidya salary like in government colleges. Meanwhile, 40 resident doctors are providing emergency services. Resident doctors say that like government colleges, they should also get a salary of more than Rs 75,000 whereas at present Rs 65,000 is being given per month. The doctors have decided to continue the agitation until their demands are met. Due to the strike, patients are going to AIIMS and Medical. it is said that the flow of patients has reduced by about 60 percent.
