As part of the ongoing major upgrade of Nagpur Railway Station, it has been decided to temporarily relocate the ‘Restaurant on Coach’ to facilitate the expedited construction of West Wing 3 basement parking. This relocation aims to accelerate infrastructure development and enhance the overall passenger experience at the station.
The ‘Restaurant on Coach’ has long been celebrated as one of the most popular amenities at Nagpur Railway Station, offering a delightful dining experience for travelers and locals alike. Its temporary relocation underscores Indian Railways’ commitment to prioritizing the modernization and improvement of railway infrastructure for the benefit of passengers and the community.
The shifting process involved the concerted efforts of 6 Hydra operators and took a total of 5 hours to complete.
This meticulous operation reflects the dedication and commit- ment of railway authorities to minimizing disruptions while en- suring the smooth progress of the redevelopment works.
On the other hand, concretization of Kingsway in front of DRM office has led to traffic congestion as a result of which there are long queues of vehicles near LIC Square, near Kingsway hospital and Jaistambh Square. Work is ongoing round the clock to ensure that smooth traffic movement is resumed at the earliest.
