Manohar Joshi, former Maharashtra Chief Minister, former Lok Sabha Speaker, has been admitted to Hinduja Hospital. He sufferred a heart attack and his condition is said to be critical.
Manohar Joshi, Shiv Sena leader was the first non-Congress Chief Minister in Maharashtra in the Shiv Sena – BJP government which came to power in 1995.
Joshi then became MP and became Speaker during the Atal Behari Vajpai government.
He suffered a brain stroke in May last year. After being discharged from hospital he was away from active politics.
