Eight people were booked for allegedly abducting and beating the cafe owner on knifepoint. The incident took place under Pratap Nagar police station limits.
The complainant, Santosh Jogekar, is a Cafe owner near hingna t-point. On Monday afternoon a group of young men entered a cafe for a birthday party. over a trivial matter one of them started beating the cafe owner. After that, the accused youths dragged the cafe owner out and forcibly took him to a deserted place and beat him.
The Pratapnagar police registered a case against the main accused Harshal Brahmane along with seven other accused on the complaint of the cafe owner.
