Providing significant relief to engineering and polytechnic students, the State Council has approved an amendment to the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University Act of 1989, enabling them to take exams in Marathi.
The amended bill was introduced in the Maharashtra Legislative Council on Thursday by Higher and Technical Education Minister Chandrakant Patil.
pAs a result, the syllabus will now be accessible in Marathi. This alteration aligns with the principles outlined in the National Education Policy (NEP) of 2020.
