Union Women and Child Development Minister Smriti Irani has challenged Congress leader Rahul Gandhi to debate on the difference between the work of 10 years of UPA and Modi government. Smriti said, “If my voice is reaching Rahul Gandhi, then he should listen with open ears, you choose the field, we will give our work, let there be a discussion on what is the difference between your (UPA) 10 years and Modi’s 10 years,” she said.
Smriti Irani was speaking at the “Namo Yuva Maha sammelan” organized by Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha in Nagpur. She said that if she herself asked to discuss with him (Rahul Gandhi), He would not be able to stand even in front of an ordinary worker of BJP Yuva Morcha.
Smriti said in her address that BJP has fulfilled the three major promises made to the public in the party manifesto in the last 10 years. She said that removal of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir, women’s reservation and construction of Ram Mandir are these promises and it was completed.
Smriti also attacked Congress over the Ram mandir issue and Congress leaders’ statements against the Army.
Smriti said that the way Ram devotees of the country have shown patience, they should show the same patience in future also.
