The third phase of the Nagpur-Mumbai Samruddhi Expressway will be open for public on Monday. This addition will continue to reduce travel time between Nagpur and Mumbai.
The opening of the new stretch extending to Vashi will shorten travel time for devotees from Thane and Mumbai visiting Shirdi. With the interchange, they will now be able to reach Shirdi in just one hour.
Additionally, farmers from Sinnar and Igatpuri in Nashik district are expected to save time transporting their agricultural produce to Mumbai, according to sources. Out of the total 701 kilometers of the highway, construction on 625 kilometers has already been completed and is now open for vehicular movement.
