Madhya Pradesh, beginning the day at 228/6 with 91 runs needed for victory, could only add 30 runs before being bowled out for 258. Aditya Thakare and Yash Thakur took two wickets each for Vidarbha to wrap up the match within the first hour of play on the final day.
The final between Vidarbha and Mumbai is scheduled to commence in Mumbai on March 19th. Vidarbha made a strong comeback after conceding an 82-run first innings lead, with middle-order batsman Yash Rathod scoring a remarkable century (141) in the second innings. The Vidarbha bowlers, led by Thakur and Akshay Wakhare with three wickets each, along with contributions from Aditya Sarwate and Anubhav Agarwal, who had earlier taken a five-for in the match, displayed a solid bowling performance in the second innings.
