In a vibrant celebration of womanhood, Anjuman College of Engineering and Technology (ACET) hosted a special event to commemorate International Women’s Day. Organized by the Women’s Cell of ACET in association with ISHRAE and IQAC under the supervision of Dr. Nawaz Khan, Convener Women Cell, ACET. The event centered around the theme of women’s health, hygiene, and empowerment, highlighting the importance of these aspects in fostering gender equality and societal progress.
Distinguished speakers, Dr. Ashee and Dr. Jichkar, graced the occasion, delivering insightful speeches on women’s health, hygiene, and empowerment. Dr. Ashee emphasized the significance of prioritizing women’s health and hygiene practices, while Dr. Jichkar underscored the importance of empowering women in all spheres of life. In a surprise appreciation ceremony, Anjuman Hami-e-Islam and ACET honored six remarkable women who serve as Heads of Departments at ACET, along with the IQAC Coordinator, Dr. Archana Shirbhate, for their exemplary dedication and leadership. Mr. Tanveer Mirza AHI representative and Dr. Sohail Parvez officiating Principal honored the women’s for their incredible service towards ACET.
The event concluded with a pledge to continue advocating for women’s rights and equality, both within the ACET community and beyond. Attendees left inspired and motivated to champion the cause of women’s empowerment and create a more inclusive and equitable society.
