In a concerning development, reports reveal that a significant number of individuals have been affected with food poisoning in Nagpur after consuming singada flour purchased from Golibar market for Mahashivratri fasting. Symptoms including stomach ache, vomiting, and diarrhea have been reported among nearly 100 individuals. The affected individuals have been admitted to the hospital.
Traders in the old bazaar area of Nagpur’s Golibar Chowk displayed new stickers showing expiry dates on singada flour products, causing confusion among customers.
Unfortunately, this resulted in numerous cases of food poisoning. Affected individuals are currently receiving treatment in hospitals.
