The Nagpur police have become alert to ensure that no untoward incident happens after the implementation of CAA. In this sequence, Nagpur Police Commissioner Dr. Ravindra Singhal took out a foot march in Mominpura. CP visited the entire area personally with senior officers.
It may be noted that after the passing of the CAA, Protests were carried out in Nagpur like other parts of the country. The long protests were witnessed in North Nagpur, including the city’s Muslim-dominated areas of Mominpura and Zafar nagar. In view of this, CP himself took march in the sensitive area.
