Mihan is poised for another significant advancement with plans underway for the establishment of a major Aero Sport aircraft manufacturing unit. Additionally, the Maharashtra Airport Development Corporation (MADC) is preparing to establish Simulator training centers for pilots in two locations: one within the city and another in Chandrapur.
During the Advantage Vidarbha-Indust Expo and Business Conclave in Chandrapur, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed regarding new facilities at MIHAN. Anant Aviation, alongside foreign giants SIAD USA and Cityfly USA, entered into the agreement with the Chandrapur District Administration. Notable figures present at the event included Vishal Bangre, Ujjwal Bambal, Captain Prasanna Nikhade, Pilot CFO Rohankar, Prof. P Chaudhary, Yogendra Kumar, Akash Chitmitwar, and Rajesh Naidu.
According to the MoU, services such as aeronautical and simulator training, tourism activities including hot air ballooning, paramotoring, paragliding, and hand gliding for two and four-seater aircraft will be provided. Additionally, drone training for agricultural purposes will be offered, fostering collaboration between the district administration and the companies to facilitate industrial ventures in Chandrapur. Vishal Bangre expressed gratitude towards Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, Guardian Minister of Chandrapur Sudhir Mungantiwar, and the Advantage Chandrapur team for their invaluable guidance.
