Complaint Lodged Against Saroj Namkeen Company Due to Ill Effects from Contaminated Shingada Flour Used for Mahashivratri Fasting
After consuming Shingada flour contaminated with toxins bought for Mahashivratri fasting, numerous citizens have suffered from symptoms including nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, and diarrhea. In light of this situation, legal proceedings have been initiated against Saroj Namkeen Company by the Hingna Police Station. Seven individuals have suffered adverse health effects within the jurisdiction of the Hingna Police Station and were hospitalized at Shalini Hospital.
The individuals affected had acquired packets of Shingada flour from Gopal Hotel and Gurukripa Kirana Stores in Hingna. Statements were obtained from both the victims and the store owners, and samples of the product were dispatched for analysis. Following this, the police have filed a case against the proprietors and distributors of Saroj Namkeen Company.
