The meteorological department has predicted overcast weather in Vidarbha region. It is expected to witness cloudy from March 16 to 19 due to changing weather conditions with little rainfall expected in some districts. With the onset of summer, the day temperature has begun going up. Its intensity is slightly higher in Vidarbha.
The temperature in Nagpur increased marginally to 38.7 degree Celsius on Wednesday in 24 hours which is 3.1 degree Celsius more than the average.
Chandrapur is the hottest with 39.4 degree Celsius and Yavatmal with 39 degree Celsius. Whereas in Akola, Washim, Gondia and Amravati with partial reduction it has been recorded 38 degree Celsius, 38.4 degree Celsius, 37 degree Celsius and 36.4 degree Celsius respectively. The heat has increased even at night.
Meanwhile, Vidarbha will remain cloudy for four days from March 16. However, the Meteorological Depart- ment has predicted sporadic rain in four districts Nagpur, Amravati, Gondia and Gadchiroli. Chances of rain in other districts are negligible.
