The medical certificates submitted to avoid the election duty will be strictly verified. Those submitting false certificates will face stern action. The warning has been issued by the District Collector and Election Officer for the Nagpur and Ramtek Lok Sabha constituencies Dr Vipin Itankar.
Dr Itankar in a circular issued on Monday said that most of the government employees perform the important election duty honestly. Some of them submit medical certificates to avoid the election duty. The administration makes all the efforts for smooth conduct of polling at all levels including remote villages. However, some of them put hurdles in fulfilling their responsibilities. The entire process need more than 50,000 human force directly or indirectly. The efforts are being made to get 75 percent or more voting during the coming elections. The preparations are reviewed every day by the administration.
