The Summer 2024 examinations conducted by Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU) are set to commence on Monday. The university’s Department of Examination will oversee over 1,100 examinations across multiple courses, spread out over 5-6 phases.
The review of the planning for the Summer 2024 examination was conducted by Dr. Sanjay Dudhe, the Pro-Vice-Chancellor, during a meeting. Dr. Praful Sable, the Director of the Board of Examinations and Evaluation, along with Navin Mungle, the Deputy Registrar, and Motiram Tadas, Nitin Kadbe, and D. S. Pawar were also present.
The examinations will be held at 133 examination centres. Of these centres, 35 are in Nagpur city, 36 in Nagpur rural, 20 in Bhandara district, 17 in Gondia district and 25 in Wardha district.
Examinations for Certificate and Diploma courses are starting from Monday.
Examinations for degree courses will start from March 26, of Post-Graduate courses from April 8 while
Supplementary examinations will begin from April 15.
During a meeting, Dr. Dudhe, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, directed officials to complete all course examinations by the last week of May, emphasizing transparency and vigilance against impropriety. Stressing security, he urged Centre-in-charges to download question papers securely to prevent errors caused by laxity.
He emphasized the seriousness of examination work and ensuring student convenience with provisions like water, toilets, coolers, and fans at centres.
Dr. Dudhe also provided guidance on exam timing. Motiram Tadas outlined online examination details. Principals and Center Officers from four districts attended. Dr. Dudhe’s instructions highlighted the university’s commitment to fair, secure, and student-friendly examination processes.
